On May 29, 2003 Marianne Horinko from the US EPA's Office
of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER), and Paul Chistolini from the US General
Services Administration signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen
their already existing partnership and commitment to brownfields cleanup and redevelopment.
This partnership brings together two important federal agencies in the brownfields arena;
GSA as the federal government's real estate expert and EPA as the federal government's cleanup
and enforcement expert.
Signing ceremony at the National Press Club on May 29, 2003.
